Automotive Technician Specialist

Responsibilities
- Research, identify, and cross-reference correct OEM and aftermarket vehicle replacement parts using cataloging systems and supplier portals
- Interpret complex vehicle technical diagrams, wiring schematics, TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins), and factory repair specifications
- Deliver remote diagnostic support, troubleshooting guidance, and technical consultation to field technicians and service advisors
- Contact parts vendors, distributors, and dealerships via phone and messaging platforms (WhatsApp) to verify parts availability, lead times, and competitive pricing
- Administer digital shop management software (Shop-Ware, Steer, Tekmetric, Detect Auto) to build detailed repair orders, track parts procurement, and streamline shop workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an A-Level Automotive Technician in a shop environment
- Deep mechanical and diagnostic knowledge covering American and European vehicle makes and models; light-diesel vehicle experience is a strong plus
- Proficient with digital shop management and estimating platforms (e.g., Shop-Ware, Tekmetric, Steer, or similar automotive software)
- High computer literacy with experience managing vendor communication, electronic parts ordering, and remote technical support
