Payroll Team Lead

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Payroll.
• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing, attendance management, and statutory deductions.
• Good knowledge of Philippine payroll requirements and labor regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage deadlines and multiple employee/client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assign tasks to payroll staff.
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.
• Review attendance, timesheets, overtime, absences, leaves, deductions, and other payroll inputs.
• Validate payroll calculations and ensure accuracy before final processing.
• Coordinate with HR, recruitment, operations, and accounting teams regarding payroll concerns.
• Coordinate with client companies regarding attendance, billing, and employee payroll requirements.
• Handle employee inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor payroll deadlines and ensure timely submission of payroll reports.
• Prepare and review payroll summaries, reports, and reconciliation documents.
• Ensure proper handling of government-mandated deductions and payroll-related requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
• Investigate payroll errors and implement corrective actions.
• Train, guide, and evaluate payroll team members.
• Develop and improve payroll procedures to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable Philippine labor and payroll regulations.
• Perform other payroll and administrative duties as assigned.
