About the role
Yinshan Lending Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collection Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Makati City, Metro Manila. As the Collection Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our collection's operations, leading a team of dedicated collectors and ensuring efficient debt recovery processes.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and supervise a team of collections agents, providing guidance, training and performance feedback to ensure optimal results
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies and processes to maximise debt recovery
- Monitor and analyse team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collections operations and customer service
- Maintain detailed records and reporting on collections activities, progress and outcomes
- Foster a positive and motivating team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and company policies governing collections practices
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a collections or customer service supervisory role, preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret and utilise performance metrics to drive improvements
- Thorough understanding of collections regulations, policies and best practices
- Proven track record of successfully driving collections performance and meeting or exceeding targets
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
