Onboard Training Supervisor - SLC Cavite

About the role

Southern Luzon College Cavite is seeking an experienced Onboard Training Supervisor for the SLC Cavite campus . This is a full-time position based in Dasmarinas City, Cavite, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the onboarding and training programs for new students and staff members. As Onboard Training Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all individuals transitioning into our institution receive comprehensive, high-quality training that sets them up for success. This position is strategically important to maintaining SLC's reputation for excellence in vocational education and ensuring smooth integration of new members into our learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Developing and implementing comprehensive onboarding training programs tailored to the needs of new students and staff members

• Coordinating and delivering training sessions covering institutional policies, procedures, academic expectations, and campus facilities

• Assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback collection and performance evaluation

• Maintaining detailed records of all training activities, participant attendance, and completion certifications

• Creating training materials, manuals, and multimedia resources to support learning and retention

• Liaising with various departments to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with institutional standards

• Identifying areas for training improvement and recommending program enhancements based on participant feedback

• Providing ongoing support and mentorship to new staff members and students during their transition period

• Monitoring compliance with training requirements and escalating concerns to senior management as needed

• Conducting orientation tours and introductions to key personnel and facilities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation (BSMT), or a related field

• Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in training, onboarding, staff development, or educational program management

• Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs in a vocational or educational setting

• Strong knowledge of educational institutions' operations, policies, and best practices in student and staff integration

• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively

• Demonstrated ability to develop engaging training materials and utilize various instructional methods

• Strong organizational and project management capabilities, with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and learning management systems (LMS)

• Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and stakeholders across the institution

• Problem-solving mindset and flexibility in adapting training approaches to meet varied learner needs

• Experience with data analysis and report generation related to training effectiveness is preferred

• Certification in training and development or adult learning methodologies is advantageous
