Die Attach Process Engineer

Responsibilities - Process Ownership & Optimization: Define, sustain, and control die attach parameters
- New Product Introduction & Scaling: Transfer new packaging technologies from R&D or pilot lines into high-volume manufacturing.
- Yield & Quality Control: Track Scrap rates, reduce defect ppm and lead root-cause analyses using tools like 8D, Ishikawa, and 5-Whys
- Design of Experiments: Plan and run experiments to qualify new materials and tooling
- Recipe Management: Setup recipe for die bonders and curing platforms
- CIP Projects: Conduct improvement projects of quality, productivity and cost
- Compliance & Audits: Maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and support industry standards like IATF 16949 for automotive or high-reliability products
Job Requirements
- Educations: Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical electrical, Electronics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Physics.
- Experience: With at least 3-5 years of experience as a process engineer in Die Attach
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge in die attach materials(epoxy, solder, WBC, DAF, etc)
- Proficiency in statistical tools (Minitab, JMP, SPC, Cp/Cpk, GR&R)
- Familiarity with die-attach equipment
- Capable of writing technical reports
- Familiarity with engineering tools(DOE, FMEA, 8D Rerport, etc.)
