Employee Relations Specialist

Overall Job Purpose:

Assists Employee Relations Supervisor in planning and implementing company’s employee relations programs, policies, and procedures.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or College Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management or equivalent. 
• At least 6 months to 1 year experience in Employee Relations.
• Ability to multi-task and meet timelines on deliverables.
• Knowledgeable in different HR policies and methods to implement them.
• Knowledgeable in the employment policies and regulations imposed by the state.
• Familiarity with an industrial union environment.
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provides support for the day-to-day operations of the Employee Relations Team.
2. Assists in the end-to-end process of Employee Relations.
3. Handles and monitors employee records.
4. Assists ER Supervisor in the preparation and issuance of Employees Extension and Renewal of Contract.
5. Coordinates with Operations regarding the staff and workers recommended for Transfer to another site. Provides the Recruitment Team a list of approved names for transfer.
6. Monitors contracts of staff and workers.
7. Assists Employee Relations Supervisor in the issuance of Employee’s Performance Evaluation. Tracking and monitoring of each Staff and Workers’ Performance Rating and Status.
8. Processes Resignation Letter received from Employees and conducts Exit Interviews. 
9. Checks and monitors Staff and Workers’ submitted Clearance
10. Processes all Incident Report received from Sites and Offices.
11. Performs other work-related tasks assigned by the Employee Relations Supervisor and HR Manager.
