Job Summary:
Merchandising Officer is responsible for day-to-day merchandising requirements, stocks inventory, delivery and display of products in retail stores nationwide. Promote effective and cost-efficient visual display, rack and store promotions, pricing and overall appearance of stores and recommend solutions and strategies to resolve store and merchandise concerns, issues and disputes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effective visual merchandising, display rack and overall store appearance
- Know how to interpret product category performance, and data analysis.
- Create store promotional strategies aligned with the principal directions.
- Roll-out store promotions and ensure effective implementation.
- Responsible for product performance evaluation and recommend new SKUs/items and initiate stocks replenishment to ensure smooth and healthy stocks inventory.
- Conducts product training to Retail Sales.
- Responsible for merchandising materials such as price tag, specs sheet, shelf-talker and the likes aligned with brand guidelines.
- Responsible for store communication and brand guidelines.
- Prepares trade check report, SWOT and PEST analysis.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years as Merchandising officer for retail stores, retail sales, store planning, store marketing and sales.
- Experience in product display, merchandising, retail, and cleaning equipment, home appliances and personal care industry is an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in range planning, product coordination, inventory monitoring, and seasonal merchandising.
