QC or QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits on materials, equipment, and processes
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements
- Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with engineering, production, suppliers, contractors, and clients regarding quality issues
- Monitor process performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in internal and external quality audits
- Verify calibration of testing and inspection equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- Experience in quality assurance and quality control processes
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, or industry-specific standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and documentation abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management systems
