Associate HRIS Manager

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf on one of the world's renounced Academic Research Institute that provides learning and Education to people.

This role is based in Makati City and requires a hybrid work setup .

The Associate HRIS Manager (Maternity Cover) is responsible for managing the HRIS team and acting as a key point of contact for People systems. The role provides subject matter support, helps ensure the integrity and reliability of People systems, and supports the effective use of system capabilities to enable efficient, user-centred HR processes. The role ensures consistent global support for our people system: Workday

Key Job Responsibilities

Operational Ownership & Governance
  • Maintain the integrity, reliability, and accuracy of all HRIS and connected systems through effective controls, governance processes, and scheduled audits.
  • Ensure Workday remain audit-ready and compliant with internal controls, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Take the responsibility of tracking the data issues for Workday, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and reliable and work on the next steps with people systems product owner.

System & Functional Expertise

  • Apply and maintain Workday process to enable its effective use and support the delivery of core people processes.
  • Provide guidance on how people data and structures are maintained, ensuring consistency and data quality.
  • Take accountability for ongoing learning and development within the Workday ecosystem, actively engaging with the Workday Community and User Groups.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and support the HRIS team, overseeing workload prioritisation, business-as-usual support, and consistent global service delivery.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to ensure effective day-to-day operations across all People systems.

Project & Change Management

  • Manage projects and change initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, delivery activities, and timelines.
  • Ensure changes delivered through projects are fully embedded into HRIS business-as-usual processes, including documentation, training, and handover to support teams.
  • Support change governance by analysing system enhancement needs and progressing approved changes through agreed change control processes.

Adoption, Training & Enablement

  • Lead and coordinate systems training, knowledge sharing, and global self-service enablement to improve user experience and system adoption.
  • Develop, maintain, and update user guidance, procedures, training materials, and documentation to support consistent system usage.
  • Ensure training and communication activities support successful adoption of system changes across the business.

Stakeholder & Vendor Partnership

  • Partner closely with People & Culture, Reward, Finance, Payroll, and Technology teams to ensure People systems effectively support business and people outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third party service providers, ensuring support and development services meet agreed expectations.

Reporting & Insights

  • Act as the key contact and super user for reporting across People systems, providing guidance to ensure reports are accurate and fit for purpose.
  • Own the delivery of internal and external audit reports and stakeholder reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.


Key Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with Workday, supporting and maintaining system functionality within a complex organisation.
  • Experience managing or coordinating teams and workload delivery, including prioritisation of BAU activities and service support in operational environment.
  • Experience supporting system-related projects and ensuring outcomes are successfully embedded into operational processes.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including People & Culture, Reward, Payroll, Finance, Technology, and external vendors.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain system concepts clearly and provide guidance and training to non-technical users.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and controlled way.
