CAD Operator

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and update shop drawings for HVAC systems (ducting, piping, equipment layout) based on actual site conditions
- Revise drawings in real-time based on site instructions, RFIs, and coordination meetings
- Conduct site measurements and verification to ensure drawing accuracy before fabrication and installation
- Produce as-built drawings reflecting final installed conditions
- Coordinate closely with site engineers, project managers, and foremen for drawing corrections and clarifications
- Identify and resolve clashes with other trades (electrical, plumbing, structural) prior to execution
- Assist in material take-offs and ensure drawings align with actual site requirements
- Maintain proper control of drawing revisions and document versions on site
- Support the team in interpreting drawings for installation and fabrication
Minimum Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Experience in HVAC drawings
- Able to read and interpret mechanical plans and specifications
- Willing to be site-based and handle fast-paced revisions
