Job Description
- Sourcing and Supplier Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery time, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to facilitate smooth and efficient procurement processes.
- Evaluate supplier performance regularly and identify areas for improvement.
- Procurement Process:
- Receive and process purchase requisitions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in a timely manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor order status and expedite delivery to meet agreed deadlines.
- Verify and approve invoices for payment.
- Ensure that all purchases are in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the Purchasing Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain roles.
- Strong understanding of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and negotiations.
- Proficiency in using purchasing software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
