We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting in financial reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work with accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure data integrity.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax and benefit regulations.
- Manage and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Monitor and track outstanding invoices, collections, and payments.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and other departments to resolve accounting-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is a plus.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis is desirable.
