JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST
Position: Accounting Officer
Department: Finance &
Report to: Accounting General / Management
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and financial records.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and monitoring of cash transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Monitor expenses, reimbursements, and supporting documents.
- Maintain organized and confidential accounting files and records.
- Coordinate with other departments, clients, suppliers, and external parties regarding accounting concerns.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with Company accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Preferably with 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG requirements is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
