TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT

The following will be the main duties of the Technical Superintendent, among others:
- Develop and implement training programs for UMMI crew in the Engine Department.
- Deliver lectures and practical demonstrations on engine safety and operations.
- Conduct Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar, SMS Trainings, and other In-house trainings of the company
- Assess engine crew's performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assess engine crew applicants' qualifications and suitability for the job.
- Prepare modules, training matrices, evaluations and reports relevant to the engine department.
- Stay updated with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance training courses.
Job Requirements:
- Education Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Marine Transportation, Maritime Studies, or any related field
- Training Course for Instructors (IMO Model Course 6.09)
- With IMO Model Course 6.10 is an advantage
- Experience Level: 5-10 years
- Skills and Competencies: Leadership Development, Public Speaking, Excellent Communication Skills, Written Communication
- Responsibilities and Duties: Design training materials and resources for effective learning of engine crew
- Working Conditions: Classroom and hands-on training environments
