HEALTHCARE SPECIALIST
Job Overview Healthcare Specialist assists patients with scheduling appointments or procedures while maintaining superior customer service and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: Properly schedules appointments according to established practice protocols. Screens patients for demographic information and updates system as necessary. Verifies method of payment for service (Medicare, private insurance, self-pay, etc.) and collects data. Verifies necessary referrals are obtained and any necessary authorization are in progress prior to scheduling appointment. Informs patients of information or payment that must be presented at time of visit. Qualifications: Graduate or undergraduate of Nursing, Medical Technology (MedTech), Radiologic Technology (RadTech), or other related medical/allied health programs Licensed professionals and undergraduates are welcome to apply Familiarity with medical terminology and common healthcare concepts Able to identify the appropriate medical specialty/doctor based on a patient's diagnosis or medical concern Good verbal and written English communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to understand medical information Willing to work onsite in Cebu City Customer service experience is not required, we value your healthcare knowledge and communication skills.
