Material Specialist

Responsibilities - Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Process purchase requests and coordinate procurement activities with suppliers and vendors.
- Track incoming and outgoing materials and ensure accurate documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Coordinate deliveries, shipments, and material transfers to project sites or warehouses.
- Prepare inventory, procurement, and logistics reports as required.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and issuance of materials.
- Collaborate with project teams and other departments to support operational requirements.
Qualifications:
- College graduate; Engineering degree is an advantage.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or materials control.
- Experience in the cabling or telecommunications industry is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of cabling products and materials.
- Proficient in procurement, inventory management, and documentation.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Able to work independently and under minimal supervision.
