Accounts Executive (AP)
The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of supplier invoices, payments, and related accounting records, while maintaining strong internal controls and good vendor relationships., This person will also be assisting the Finance In-Charge to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders within the Company and provide relevant support to the business as Finance representative.
- Review, verify, and process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure invoices are properly approved and recorded in accordance with company policies
- Prepare and process supplier payments in line with agreed payment terms
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor master data
- Handle supplier inquiries and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies promptly
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items
- Support month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations
- Ensure tax compliance for all AP related transactions (including issue relevant tax documents to the suppliers)
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, finance procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with audits and ad-hoc finance tasks
- Provide analysis of cash flow, operating costs and variances
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Have at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience in AP
- Great working attitude with an agile mindset
- Team player
- Possess great communication skills with all stakeholders and a strong command of English language
- Are detail oriented with strong sense of work prioritization and time management
- Are proficient in Microsoft office and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in the use of accounting software
- Can work independently and able to work with people across all levels
