IT Service Desk Staff (On-site)

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in information systems, computer science or any related technical discipline
- Previous working experience as an IT Technician or IT Help Desk Staff for at least 2 years
- Experience working in a help desk environment is a plus
- Fluent in verbal and written English language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
- Highly organized to keep help desk tickets in order
- Detail-oriented in order to keep detailed notes and information on tickets
- Customer-focused, friendly, and patient
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work well with others
- Willing to work on-site
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Must be available for occasional overtime as required by business needs
Primary Functions
- First point of contact of clients who need technical assistance
- Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
- Diagnose computer errors and provide technical support
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues using diagnostic techniques
- Maintain daily performance of computer systems
- Install, configure, upgrade PC software and operating systems
- User account management and Microsoft 365 administration
- Perform other job-related duties as and when assigned
Skills
- Sound technical knowledge and working experience of the following:
- Windows-based operating systems
- Microsoft desktop products
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory
- LAN/WAN network technology concepts
- Sound knowledge and experience in using ConnectWise or other similar ticketing systems is a plus
