Job Description
The Stock Clerk/Purchasing position requires 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or procurement, with a preference for candidates with a restaurant background.
Qualifications
- At least college level; a degree is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to receive, inspect, weigh, and log incoming food and beverage deliveries.
- Familiarity with FIFO (first-in, first-out) method to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize spoilage.
- Basic negotiation and relationship-building skills to coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Proficiency in inventory software or Microsoft Excel for tracking stock levels.
