1. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, equipment, and services.
2. Review and process purchase requisitions and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders in accordance with approved company procedures.
3. Obtain competitive quotations and prepare cost comparisons for management approval.
4. Monitor order status and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery to support uninterrupted production operations.
5. Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier databases.
6. Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, production, and quality assurance for material specifications and delivery schedules.
7. Conduct price benchmarking and cost analysis to support cost-saving initiatives.
8. Handle supplier performance evaluation and assist in vendor development activities.
9. Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies, budget limits, and applicable regulatory requirements.
10. Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
