Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role
Global Aerospace Technology Philippines Inc. is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in aerospace manufacturing and the AS9100 Quality Management System (QMS).
Key responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, applicable aerospace standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct internal audits and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Investigate nonconformities, identify root causes, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions.
Prepare, review, and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records.
Monitor product quality, inspection activities, and process compliance.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
Support customer audits, certification audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote quality awareness and ensure adherence to established quality procedures.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience in AS9100 implementation, maintenance, or auditing.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing or a related manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Knowledge of ISO 9001, quality assurance principles, risk-based thinking, and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with nonconformance management, CAPA, and internal quality audits.
Ability to prepare and maintain technical documentation and quality records.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working collaboratively across departments.
Certified Internal Auditor for AS9100 or ISO 9001 (preferred).
Experience supporting AS9100 certification or surveillance audits (preferred).
