As our Senior Account Manager, you'll become the trusted partner for our clients after they've made a hire, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience, maintaining strong relationships, solving challenges before they become problems, and helping our clients continue to grow with RunRemote.

This is a highly relationship-focused role that combines customer success, account management, operations, and problem-solving. You'll work closely with founders, hiring managers, and remote professionals to ensure every placement becomes a long-term success.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Own the end-to-end client experience, ensuring every client receives outstanding service from onboarding onwards.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, candidates, and internal stakeholders.

• Build strong long-term relationships with clients through regular check-ins and proactive communication.

• Monitor contractor engagement and overall client satisfaction throughout the client lifecycle.

• Identify potential issues early and work collaboratively with clients and candidates to resolve challenges before they escalate.

• Manage replacements and ongoing account support.

• Collaborate closely with Recruitment and Leadership to deliver a seamless client experience.

• Manage the recruitment team and ensure the delivery of quality shortlist within timelines.

• Develop and continuously improve customer success processes, documentation, and best practices.

• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve workflows, customer communication, and operational efficiency.

• Support the continuous improvement of RunRemote's customer journey by identifying trends, gathering client feedback, and recommending process enhancements.

Skills you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, Client Services, and Recruitment.

• Proven experience managing long-term client relationships.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to manage sensitive conversations professionally.

• Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to prioritise tasks while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.

• Ability to handle difficult conversations with clients and push back when needed.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Experience with the following tools is highly regarded:

  • HubSpot

  • TeamTailor

  • Google Workspace

  • Slack

  • Notion

  • Asana, ClickUp, or similar project management platforms

  • AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, etc.

Skills that will make you stand out:

• Experience working in a recruitment, staffing, outsourcing, or global employment agency.

• Experience supporting startups, founders, or high-growth businesses.

• Experience managing international clients across Australia, the UK, Europe, or North America.

• Experience improving customer journeys or implementing customer success processes.

• Knowledge of remote workforce management or global employment.

• Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve customer success operations.

• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth.
