Accounting Trainee

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Accounting Intern to support our Finance and Accounting team with daily accounting and administrative tasks. This opportunity is open to current students seeking internship or OJT experience and fresh graduates who want to gain practical experience and strengthen their accounting skills.

The successful candidate will gain hands-on exposure to financial documentation, bookkeeping, data entry, and basic financial reporting while working remotely with a professional team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in recording and organizing financial transactions and accounting documents.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of invoices, receipts, vouchers, and other financial records.
• Assist in monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records and spreadsheets.
• Help prepare basic financial reports, expense summaries, and accounting schedules.
• Assist in reconciling financial records and identifying discrepancies for review.
• Organize and maintain digital accounting files and supporting documents.
• Support the monitoring of expenses, payments, and other financial activities.
• Ensure the accuracy, confidentiality, and proper handling of financial information.
• Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or a graduate of a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Information Systems, Management Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Open to fresh graduates with little to no professional experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work independently in a remote setup.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information professionally.
