Head of Product (REMOTE)

As the Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobility at JoyRide. You will lead a talented team of product managers to define and execute product vision, drive innovation, and deliver exceptional experiences for JoyRide's customers and driver-partners. You will play a pivotal role in identifying market opportunities, developing product strategy, and managing the entire product lifecycle. You will also be responsible for setting targets, developing product roadmaps, and driving growth through the development and execution of innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company's mission and objectives.
• Lead a high-performing product management team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
• Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and launch.
• Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, business impact, technical feasibility, and resource constraints.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, operations, and executive leadership, to drive product success.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product performance, iterate on features, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience across mobile and web platforms, focusing on usability, accessibility, and customer satisfaction.
• Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry standards affecting ride-hailing and delivery services, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Champion innovation and experimentation, exploring new technologies, business models, and strategic partnerships to stay ahead of the competition.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in product management roles, preferably within the transportation, mobility, or technology sectors.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze market dynamics, anticipate industry trends, and translate insights into actionable product strategies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, A/B testing, and user research techniques to inform product decisions and drive business outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in product management fundamentals, including prioritization, roadmapping, and agile methodology.
• Deep empathy for customers and a relentless focus on delivering value and enhancing the end-user experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, navigate ambiguity, and pivot quickly in response to changing market conditions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Additional certifications in product management or relevant domains are a plus.
