Engineering Supervisor

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise and lead a team of technician and engineering staff, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure effective teamwork and high performance in doing the Preventive Maintenance and projects Provide technical expertise and support to engineering teams in troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on complex engineering problems. Collaborate with other departments, such as production, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of engineering activities with overall plant operations. Identify training needs for engineering staff and facilitate professional development to enhance skills and keep the team abreast of industry advancements Enforce Company Policies, Work Instructions, Procedures and safety protocols Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of engineering processes, designs, and project/maintenance outcomes. Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials and components. Foster clear and open communication within the engineering team and with other departments, promoting effective information flow and coordination. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation related to engineering projects and activities. Issue the work order and needed materials, tools and PPE to engineering technician / crew Regularly check the progress of activities being performed by the technician / crew and ensure compliance to the written instructions and procedures Performed other duties as assign by immediate superior Required Skills/Competencies Ability to locate and identify malfunctions or defections in equipment or apparatus and to make repairs. Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber Can climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc. Experience/Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering related courses (Preferably Licensed Engineer) Have experience in manufacturing plant maintenance and troubleshooting activities (2 years Engineering Supervisor experience is REQUIRED) Willing to be assigned in Calauan, Laguna Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: Php25,000.00 – Php30,000.00 per month Benefits Company Christmas gift Company events Paid training Schedule 8 hour shift Shift system Supplemental Pay 13th month salary Performance bonus
