Credit Analyst - Corporate (Officer Level)

Job Purpose, Duties and Responsibilities
Performs financial analyses/financial spreading of assigned accounts’ historical audited financial statements for a thorough evaluation of the borrowers financial condition to determine their capacity to meet their financing obligations.
Validates in-house financial statements, recasts financial statements, based on financial statement validation guidelines, as part of financial evaluation of Top Tier accounts.
Evaluates projected financial statements for term borrowers, sensitizes projected/base case projections and comes up with financial covenants to ensure compliance to proposed repayment terms.
Prepares other major sections of Credit Reports (CTSRs) and highlights credit risks to assist the Relationship Managers in facilitating approvals of Annual Reviews of existing accounts and on-boarding of new accounts.
Assists the Relationship Managers in preparation and timely submission of various Credit reports such as Account Planning Reports, Interim/Loan Review Reports, Notification Form among others.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics or any Business-related course
Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or Business Management (MBM) preferred
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in credit and financial analysis within Corporate or Commercial Banking
Strong technical credit writing skills and attention to detail
Highly proficient in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint
