Seller Outreach & Growth Virtual Assistant

SnapSell is an AI-powered selling and listing platform built to make selling online dramatically faster and easier.

With SnapSell, sellers can take a photo of an item and use AI to generate the listing title, description, category, pricing suggestions, and other listing details — helping sellers create listings in seconds instead of spending several minutes writing everything manually.

We are looking for a highly proactive Seller Outreach & Growth Virtual Assistant to help us grow our seller community in the Philippines.

This is a hands-on role. You will be directly involved in finding potential sellers, reaching out to them, introducing SnapSell, and helping bring new sellers onto the platform.

The Role

As our Seller Outreach & Growth VA , your main responsibility will be to identify and communicate with potential SnapSell users — particularly people who regularly sell products online.

You will spend a significant amount of your time researching sellers, joining relevant communities, sending outreach messages, following up with prospects, and helping convert interested sellers into SnapSell users.

You will work closely with the SnapSell founding team to test different outreach strategies, messaging, and acquisition channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Seller Outreach

• Identify potential sellers across Facebook Marketplace, Facebook Groups, Carousell, TikTok, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
• Find people who regularly sell used items, fashion, electronics, appliances, collectibles, vehicles, and other products online.
• Reach out to potential sellers through appropriate channels.
• Introduce SnapSell in a natural, friendly, and non-spammy way.
• Explain how SnapSell can make creating listings faster and easier.
• Encourage interested sellers to try SnapSell.

2. Facebook Group & Community Outreach

• Research and identify relevant Philippine buy-and-sell communities.
• Participate appropriately in relevant Facebook Groups and online communities.
• Identify active sellers and potential power sellers.
• Build relationships with sellers rather than simply sending mass promotional messages.
• Help identify communities where SnapSell could acquire large numbers of sellers.

3. Lead Generation

• Build and maintain lists of potential sellers.
• Research seller profiles and identify high-quality prospects.
• Categorize prospects based on seller type, product category, activity level, and potential value.
• Keep accurate records of contacted, interested, converted, and unresponsive prospects.
• Continuously look for new sources of potential sellers.

4. Follow-Ups

• Follow up with sellers who have shown interest in SnapSell.
• Answer basic questions about the platform.
• Encourage prospects who have not yet tried SnapSell to give it a test.
• Track conversations and follow-up dates.
• Escalate technical or product-related questions to the appropriate SnapSell team member.

5. User Activation

• Help new sellers understand how to use SnapSell.
• Encourage new users to create their first listing.
• Follow up with newly acquired sellers to understand their experience.
• Collect feedback about what sellers like, dislike, or find confusing.
• Report recurring feedback and objections to the founding team.

6. Growth & Research

• Research competitors and other selling/listing platforms.
• Identify new seller acquisition opportunities.
• Test different outreach messages and approaches.
• Track which outreach strategies generate the most responses and users.
• Provide weekly reports on outreach activity and results.
• Suggest new ideas for acquiring sellers and growing SnapSell.

This is a results-oriented role . We care about the quality and outcome of your outreach, not simply how many messages you send.

• Researching Facebook Groups and Marketplace sellers
• Finding active sellers and power sellers
• Sending personalized outreach messages
• Following up with previous leads
• Answering seller questions
• Recording leads in our tracking system
• Helping new users get started
• Researching new communities
• Reporting outreach results
• Sharing seller feedback with the SnapSell team

Requirements

• Strong communication skills in English.
• Comfortable communicating through Facebook Messenger and other social platforms.
• Familiarity with Facebook Marketplace and/or Carousell is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable using Google Sheets, spreadsheets, and basic online tools.
• Organized and able to keep track of multiple conversations.
• Proactive and self-motivated.
• Comfortable doing repetitive outreach while maintaining a personal and friendly communication style.
• Able to learn new software quickly.
• Good attention to detail.
• Strong internet research skills.
• Able to work independently and take initiative.
