About the role
International Sales Manager - is a professional responsible for leading and managing a company's sales activities in international markets. They develop strategies to increase overseas sales, build relationships with international clients, and identify new business opportunities in different countries.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement international sales strategies and targets.
- Identify and develop new customers and markets overseas.
- Manage relationships with international clients, distributors, and business partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and sales agreements.
- Monitor international market trends and competitors..
- Lead and supervise international sales teams or agents.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, finance, and logistics departments.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
- Ensure sales targets and revenue goals are achieved.
- Handle customer concerns and maintain strong client relationships.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Management, Sales, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of sales experience, preferably in international or B2B sales.
- Previous experience managing international clients, distributors, or business partners.
- Experience in sales team leadership or management.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
- Knowledge of international sales and business practices.
- Understanding of import/export procedures, customs, tariffs, and trade regulations.
- Knowledge of international market trends and competitor analysis.
- Master's degree or MBA is an advantage, especially for senior management positions.
- Experience with international markets, export operations, or cross-border transactions is highly desirable.
