GTA 6 Bible is the wiki, database, interactive map and news desk for Grand Theft Auto VI , and part of GAMURS Group. GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 and will be the largest entertainment launch of the decade. We're building the video channel that covers it — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Shorts — from the ground up.

The Role

We're looking for a Video Producer & Editor who knows Grand Theft Auto properly and can run our video output end to end: finding the idea, capturing or sourcing the footage, cutting it, and shipping it.

This is deliberately not a brief-taking editing role. The person we want watches a Rockstar trailer and immediately knows which three moments are worth a video, which fan theory is worth taking seriously, and which detail the rest of the internet has missed. If you need a shot list handed to you, this isn't the role. If you have opinions about what we should be making, it is.

You'll own the direction of the channel as well as the output. We're starting close to zero across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, so the job is as much about working out what grows fastest as it is about producing it — setting the slate, reading what worked, and changing course when the numbers say to.

You'll produce both long-form YouTube content and a steady stream of verticals for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with each long-form piece cut down into multiple short-form assets — plus meme and edit content that speaks to the community in its own language.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, produce and edit long-form YouTube video — trailer breakdowns, news explainers, retrospectives, comparisons and launch coverage.
• Cut every long-form piece into short-form verticals for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Facebook Reels.
• Capture your own gameplay and B-roll where needed. Ahead of launch this means GTA V, GTA Online and RDR2; after 19 November it means GTA 6 itself.
• Turn around reaction and breakdown content fast when Rockstar drops something — trailers, the 12 November pre-load, and the 19 November launch are the moments that matter most.
• Make meme, edit and reaction content — trending audio, community in-jokes, quick-turnaround formats — that reads as native to the GTA community rather than a brand imitating it. All original work; no watermarked reposts.
• Write your own hooks, titles, thumbnails and on-screen text, optimised per platform.
• Turn our best-performing articles into video where the story has a visual payoff — our wiki and database already tell us which subjects have an audience, so use them as a starting point rather than starting cold every time.
• Produce video that lives on the site as well as on social, embedded into the articles it supports. Keeping people on the page is as valuable to us as reach.
• Work with our news desk and social manager so video, articles and social output reinforce each other.
• Set the content slate — decide what gets made each week, and which formats and series are worth investing in based on what's actually performing.
• Own channel growth: read the analytics across every platform, identify what's working, and make the call to double down or drop it. We'll expect you to bring that view to a regular catch-up rather than waiting to be asked.

Requirements

• A showreel of short-form and long-form video you have produced and edited yourself, ideally for a gaming or entertainment audience.
• Genuine knowledge of the Grand Theft Auto series and the wider games landscape — enough to originate ideas without being briefed.
• Meme fluency. You're already in these communities, you know what's funny to them this week, and you can tell the difference between a joke that lands and a brand trying to be funny.
• Fluency in a professional editing suite (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut Pro) plus motion graphics and captioning.
• The ability to capture clean gameplay footage yourself.
• A demonstrable sense of what makes someone stop scrolling in the first two seconds.
• A track record of growing a channel or account — ideally from an early stage. Tell us the numbers and what you did to move them.
• The judgement to know which written stories deserve a video and which don't. A listicle read over B-roll is not a video, and we'd rather make fewer, better things.
• Comfort reading platform analytics and acting on them rather than reporting them.
• Reliable, self-directed output. You manage your own pipeline and hit dates without chasing.
• Availability to react quickly around major Rockstar beats.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfort on camera, or voiceover ability.
• Familiarity with AI clipping tools and repurposing workflows.
• An eye for thumbnails that earn clicks honestly.

• Your resume or portfolio.
• Three video ideas you would make for GTA 6 Bible in the next fortnight , one line each — at least one of which should be a meme or short-form edit. We weight this heavily.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a short paid test brief.
