About the Role

Our client is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) beauty and lifestyle brand seeking a proactive Marketing Operations & Creative Strategy Lead to oversee marketing operations, manage content production, lead a remote creative team, and support multi-channel growth.

This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution. Working closely with company leadership, you will translate business goals into high-performing marketing campaigns, creative content, email and SMS initiatives, influencer programs, and streamlined marketing operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, entrepreneurial, and comfortable taking ownership without requiring constant direction. They continuously identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Strategy & Content Production

• Develop creative concepts for paid advertising and organic social content.
• Plan and brief short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
• Coordinate UGC creators and provide detailed creative briefs to editors.
• Plan product launch campaigns, including mood boards, creative direction, and production coordination.

Marketing Operations & Team Management

• Manage day-to-day workflows for remote designers, editors, and marketing assistants.
• Review and approve creative assets, including social media content, email designs, and campaign materials.
• Coordinate marketing projects and ensure campaigns launch on schedule.

Influencer Marketing & Partnerships

• Develop influencer outreach strategies and create campaign briefs.
• Build relationships with creators to generate high-quality marketing content.
• Identify and execute strategic brand partnerships, co-marketing initiatives, and promotional collaborations.

Email & SMS Marketing

• Plan and execute email and SMS marketing campaigns.
• Write or oversee campaign copy and creative direction.
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.

Marketing Strategy & Analytics

• Maintain the marketing calendar across launches, promotions, and campaigns.
• Monitor marketing performance and prepare regular reports.
• Research competitors, industry trends, and emerging content opportunities to improve brand growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing project management, or creative strategy within a D2C e-commerce environment.
• Experience in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands is preferred.
• Strong understanding of paid social creative, short-form video, and content strategy.
• Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Center, Klaviyo (or similar), Canva, CapCut, and project management tools like Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com.
• Highly organized with excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with strong copywriting and feedback abilities.
