1. Main Purpose of the Role

The Community Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and engaging the company's or clients' online communities across various social media channels and digital platforms.

The role focuses on strengthening brand image, increasing community engagement, and ensuring consistent and engaging digital communication.

The Community Manager also contributes to the implementation of the digital communication strategy through the creation of tailored content, performance monitoring, and ongoing research into market trends.

2. Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management and Community Engagement

Manage, engage with, and moderate the company's or clients' social media platforms.

Increase engagement and strengthen relationships with online communities.

Respond to comments, messages, and user enquiries within appropriate timeframes.

Continuously monitor online communities and digital trends.

Ensure consistent brand representation across all digital channels.

Content Creation and Management

Write and publish content tailored to different digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.

Create or coordinate the production of engaging visual and audiovisual content.

Adapt content to marketing objectives and target audiences.

Maintain and organise image libraries, video assets, and other digital materials.

Digital Strategy and Communication

Contribute to the development and implementation of digital communication and social media campaigns.

Develop strategies to improve brand visibility and community engagement.

Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and Sales teams to ensure consistency across all activities.

Coordinate with internal teams regarding new products, services, and features.

Performance Monitoring and Analysis

Monitor social media and digital campaign performance indicators.

Prepare regular performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.

Use analytics data to optimise engagement strategies and overall digital performance.

Identify opportunities to improve processes and results.

External Relations and Industry Monitoring

Develop and maintain professional relationships with partners, influencers, journalists, and industry stakeholders.

Continuously monitor technological developments, competitors, and emerging trends in digital communication and social media.

3. Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

A degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

Good knowledge of social media platforms, digital tools, and online communication strategies.

Technical Skills

Excellent written communication skills in French.

Good command of written and spoken English.

Familiarity with social media management and performance analytics tools.

Knowledge of digital marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), and content strategy.

Experience with visual and video content creation tools is an advantage.
