As a Desktop Support Technician...

You'll be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to our MSP partners and their clients.

Ideal Technical Profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a Desktop Support Technician, IT Support Technician, Service Desk Analyst, or similar technical support role.

• Experience providing Level 1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other end-user technologies.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory.

• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, and basic connectivity issues.

• Experience handling technical support requests through phone, email, chat, remote support tools, and ticketing systems.

• Knowledge of user account administration, including login support, password resets, and access management.

• Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity, DNS, and TCP/IP.

• Ability to identify and escalate complex, high-risk, security-sensitive, or unresolved issues with complete troubleshooting details.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

• Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering a positive user experience.

• Experience supporting clients in an MSP environment is an advantage.

Incident Management & Ticket Resolution

• Provide Level 1 IT support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and Microsoft 365.

• Resolve user issues via phone, email, remote support, and ticketing systems.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, email, printer, and network issues.

• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with clear documentation.

• Keep tickets updated and meet SLA requirements.

User & Microsoft 365 Administration

• Create, update, and disable user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account and device setup.

• Assist users with password resets, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft 365 applications.

• Configure and maintain computers and peripheral devices.

Device Deployment & Maintenance

• Install and deploy desktops, laptops, printers, and other devices.

• Perform software installations, updates, patching, and hardware upgrades.

• Assist with asset management and device inventory.

• Ensure devices meet company security standards.

Documentation & Customer Service

• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and procedures.

• Contribute to knowledge base articles and process improvements.

• Provide professional and customer-focused support.

• Work closely with Level 2 and Level 3 teams to resolve issues efficiently.
