Knowledge of CCTV and security systems
Understanding of networking and IP configurations
Cable installation and electrical wiring skills
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with DVR/NVR systems
Basic computer and software skills
Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
Good communication and customer service skills
Install CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, monitors, and related equipment
Run and terminate cables (coaxial, Ethernet, fiber optic)
Configure IP cameras and network settings
Test and troubleshoot surveillance systems
Perform maintenance and system upgrades
Monitor system performance and fix technical issues
Ensure compliance with safety and security standards
Train clients or staff on system usage
Maintain installation and service records
