Insurance Agent

We are looking for a highly driven, entrepreneurial, and relationship-focused Health Business Development Specialist to accelerate the growth of our retail health insurance business through our banking partners. This role is responsible for driving sales performance across assigned bank branches, developing strong relationships with branch personnel, and engaging affluent and high-net-worth customers with tailored health insurance solutions. 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven experience selling retail health insurance in the Philippines. They are commercially minded, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and consistently find creative ways to exceed sales targets. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Sales & Business Development 

• Drive retail health insurance sales through assigned bank branches and distribution channels. 
• Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. 
• Develop and execute localized sales strategies to maximize branch productivity. 
• Identify new business opportunities within existing banking relationships. 
• Build a sustainable pipeline through referrals, branch activities, customer engagement, and networking. 
• Conduct customer consultations and recommend suitable health insurance solutions based on customer needs. 

Bank Relationship Management 

• Build strong partnerships with branch managers, relationship managers, financial advisors, and frontline banking staff. 
• Position yourself as the preferred insurance partner within the assigned branches. 
• Conduct regular product presentations, coaching sessions, and sales enablement activities for bank employees. 
• Motivate branch teams through engagement activities and joint sales initiatives. 
• Ensure high visibility and strong product awareness across the branch network. 

Client Relationship Management 

• Develop relationships with affluent and priority banking customers. 
• Deliver personalized insurance consultations with professionalism and credibility. 
• Maintain high service standards throughout the customer journey. 
• Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. 
• Represent the company professionally during client meetings, events, and financial planning discussions. 

Sales Execution 

• Plan and execute branch visits based on sales opportunities. 
• Organize customer seminars, health talks, and financial wellness sessions. 
• Generate quality leads through branch campaigns and customer engagement activities. 
• Work closely with underwriting and operations to ensure smooth policy issuance. 

Administration & Reporting 

• Maintain accurate sales records and pipeline reports. 
• Ensure compliance with company policies and Insurance Commission regulations. 
• Monitor sales performance and recommend improvement initiatives. 
• Provide regular market intelligence and competitor updates. 

Qualifications:

Education 

• Bachelor''s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related field. 

Experience 

• Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in retail health insurance within the Philippines. 
• Strong experience working with bancassurance or banking distribution channels is highly preferred. 
• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. 
• Experience managing relationships with bank branches and frontline banking teams. 
• Experience engaging affluent, priority, or high-net-worth clients is an advantage.
