Job Qualifications;
- Good Knowledge in MS Office
- Familiarity or Experience using systems is an advantage.
- Degree in Business, Logistics, inventory management or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing or a related position.
- Strong Organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and supply chain management.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Numerical skills and Data Analysis is preferred.
- Keen attention to details and result driven approach.
Duties and Responsibilities;
1. Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.
2. Ensuring the materials meets specifications, quality and are cost-efficient.
3. Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.
4. Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier, payments, etc.
5. Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
6. Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.
7. Liaising with customers, suppliers and distributors.
8. Managing inventory issues, schedule changes and cancellations.
9. Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.
