Material Management Manager

Description - Oversee the material procurement process to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure the best pricing and terms.
- Analyze market trends to forecast material needs and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Lead a team of procurement specialists in achieving department objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree related to Business Administration, Operations Management, and Logistics.
At least 10 years of experience in material management, supply chain, procurement,
inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations.
At least 10 years of experience in a managerial role.
Preferably with experience in a manufacturing company, preferably food manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory management, procurement, warehousing,
and supplier management.
Experienced in ERP or inventory management systems.
analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and food safety requirements is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Willing to work on-site and conduct fieldwork, while coordinating closely with Production,
Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality Assurance (QA), Finance, and other relevant departments.
