Job Responsibilities - Lead and supervise the general ledger accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
- Collaborate with management to gather, analyze, and report financial information to support business decisions.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and budget reports in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and evaluate cost structures and revenue streams to optimize financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Conduct financial forecasting and risk modeling to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Ensure financial processes are properly documented and followed in accordance with internal controls and industry best practices.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
- Prepare progress and performance reports and present recommendations to management to improve efficiency and financial outcomes.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to financial management.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (BSA) or a related field
Licensure
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
Experience
- At least 2–3 years of supervisory experience in general accounting or financial reporting
Competencies
- Strong background in financial reporting with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information to stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency and a proactive mindset for process improvement
Special Skills / Training
- Proficiency in SAP for accounting operations, financial reporting, and general ledger management
Work Conditions
- Willingness to render extended hours during month-end and year-end closing periods when necessary
