The HR Operations Supervisor owns the accuracy and readiness of the HR data that feeds payroll, and owns the employee lifecycle from hiring handoff to final clearance across AutoGlobal Group's operations in NCR, Luzon, and Visayas. This role is the preventive control between HR encoding and payroll: you validate attendance, master data, and benefits in HRIS before every payroll cutoff, set up recurring deductions, and approve statutory registrations. You also make sure every new hire is system-ready and payroll-ready on Day 1 and every separation is cleared properly. WHAT YOU'LL DO

The HR Operations Supervisor owns the accuracy and readiness of the HR data that feeds payroll, and owns the employee lifecycle from hiring handoff to final clearance across AutoGlobal Group's operations in NCR, Luzon, and Visayas. This role is the preventive control between HR encoding and payroll: you validate attendance, master data, and benefits in HRIS before every payroll cutoff, set up recurring deductions, and approve statutory registrations. You also make sure every new hire is system-ready and payroll-ready on Day 1 and every separation is cleared properly. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Payroll-Data Validation: Reviews and validates the attendance exceptions, employee master data, and benefit enrollments encoded by the HR team in Sprout before each payroll cutoff locks. Makes sure payroll starts from clean, complete data.
- Compensation, Benefits & Statutory Oversight: Sets up recurring deductions (such as loans) in Sprout from approved documents. Reviews and approves SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG membership registrations and updates, and reviews HMO and group life enrollments for accuracy.
- Attendance, Schedule & Leave Control: Enforces standard schedules, shifts, rest days, and holiday rules, and enforces OT pre-approval before cutoff. Resolves attendance, leave, and overtime exceptions, coordinating with HR Business Partners and branch admins.
- Onboarding & Offboarding Ownership: Opens and owns a GLPI parent ticket for every new hire and every separating employee, and coordinates IT, Admin, and Accounting/Payroll through child tickets. Closes a case only when every child ticket is done. For separations, submits validated final-pay inputs to Payroll.
- Recruitment-to-Onboarding Handoff: Receives hiring data from ATS, validates it, and ensures each employee record is created correctly in Sprout and included in the right payroll cutoff.
- HRIS Governance: Sets master-data standards, user-access rules, and workflow and approval rules for Sprout and GLPI, and works with IT's HRIS Analyst on configuration.
- HR Service-Request Management: Oversees the HR ticket queue in GLPI, monitors SLAs, and resolves or escalates issues beyond the team's authority.
- Records & Policy Implementation: Keeps employee 201 files complete and current and implements and communicates approved HR policies to employees and managers across all regions.
- Internal Controls & Audit Readiness: Enforces segregation of duties between HR, HR Business Partners, Accounting, and Treasury. Maintains SOPs and documentation and closes audit findings through corrective and preventive actions.
- Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Prepares HR operations dashboards for the HR & Admin Head, tracks root causes of recurring errors, and recommends automation and process improvements in Sprout and GLPI.
- Team Leadership: Supervises, coaches, and evaluates the Compensation, Benefits & Timekeeping Specialist, and builds backup coverage for every critical HR task.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- At least 4 years of experience in HR operations, timekeeping, compensation and benefits, or HRIS administration — retail, automotive, or distribution industry preferred
- At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, with experience managing or mentoring HR staff
- Working knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR withholding rules, and DOLE labor standards
- Hands-on experience with onboarding, offboarding and clearance, and 201-file management
- Working proficiency in Sprout HRIS or a comparable HRIS, a ticketing system such as GLPI, and Microsoft Excel; experience with an applicant tracking system such as JazzHR is an advantage
- Working knowledge of Power BI dashboards (view/reporting level) is an advantage
- Detail-Oriented — catches data errors and missing documents before they reach payroll
