Finance & Accounting Supervisor or AM FPIP Sto. Tomas Batangas

Core Responsibilities: Financial Operations and Reporting Manage daily transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements. Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to meet strict deadlines. Monitor cash flow and prepare budget reports and revenue forecasts. Ledger management: Maintain the general ledger and oversee AP and AR Budgeting & Analysis Variance analysis: Compare actual expenditures against budgets and historical trends. Forecasting support: Provide data for financial planning and revenue forecasting. Compliance and Auditing Ensure all financial practices comply with GAAP, IFRS, or local tax and financial laws. Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit cycles. Establish and enforce internal financial controls to prevent errors and fraud. Team Leadership and Supervision / Management Supervise, train, and mentor junior accountants and staff. Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to achieve department goals. Provide technical guidance on complex accounting treatments and entries. Standard Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or accountancy. Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting and supervisory/managerial work. Technical skills: Strong knowledge of general ledger, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
