Description Overview: Governance Lead supports all businesses of Maya Philippines and the Bank in achieving group-wide targets while ensuring compliance to internal and external regulations and requirements to protect the company from unwanted risk and exposures. The role entails management and monitoring of key segments of the Operations while working on managing risk, gap analysis and reporting to relevant stakeholders. What You Will Do
- Conduct regular reviews on Governance related controls and monitoring
- Ensure proper controls are in place or being worked on for necessary improvements
- Ensure all audit findings are properly addressed and monitored
- Regular monitoring that non-compliant partners are deactivated and with proper handling
- Ensure enhanced due diligence and/or closure of identified high risk consumers are in place
- Identify emerging trends to bypass active controls
- Monitor key performance indices and triggers on AML, fraud, promo gaming, etc.
- Review and monitor business decisions, plans or initiatives and provide relevant inputs for improvements
- Review appropriateness of business model, product design and business or market practices
- Assist/monitor completion of business units' periodic risk and control self assessment (RCSA)
- Have at least 6 years of experience in compliance/governance related tasks, preferably in FinTech
- Exposure to control environment and processes
