As a Finance Director for a large-scale theme park development project, you will lead financial operations in a On-Site setting. This pivotal role requires a hands-on leader to oversee financial strategy, CAPEX management, and governance during the construction phase of a €500M+ project in Shenzhen.

What will your day look like?

You will be at the forefront of financial activities, ensuring everything aligns with project milestones.

Lead all financial activities for a major CAPEX project (~€500M+)
Develop and execute financial strategy tailored to project timelines
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control throughout the construction phase
Establish and maintain robust financial governance and compliance frameworks
Manage relationships with joint venture partners, government entities, and banks
Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership and global stakeholders
Operate in a lean team environment, maintaining a hands-on approach

What experience do you need?

To excel in this role, you should bring a wealth of relevant experience and expertise.

Proven experience in construction-phase finance (not operational finance)
Background in large-scale infrastructure , construction , energy , or capital-intensive projects
Strong experience managing high-value CAPEX budgets
Demonstrated ability to operate in complex stakeholder/JV environments
Fluency in Mandarin (required)
Willingness to be based on-site in Shenzhen
Open to global relocation (preference for candidates with international exposure)
