Our company is looking for a Engineering Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, conduct and participate in value engineering workshops for optimizing scope and design;
  • Participate in weekly AmecFW assigned project reviews;
  • Manage all project design and engineering services work being executed in the Offices;
  • Participate in Project Management Plan reviews;
  • Participate in key client reviews and meetings as required;
  • Provide notification of any potential commercial risk or opportunity to the Project Director / Manager for further action;
  • Establish administrative policies, procedures, and standards;
  • Develop cost estimates;
  • Coordinate activities of unit with other units or organizations;
  • Oversee the research and development of new products and procedures;
  • Improve manufacturing processes and advance scientific research;
  • Analyze market demand and available resources;
  • Approve expenditures;
  • Confer with higher levels of management;
  • Review and recommend contracts.

Requirements:

  • Three (3) years Management experience;
  • Computer literate: MS Office;
  • ECSA registered is required;
  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical (Added advantage);
  • GCC Mines & Works;
  • DMR Certificate GCC Mines and Works (Mechanical or Electrical);
  • At least 12 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
  • Knowledgeable in operations audit, methods and process environment;
  • Preferably license by the Professional Regulation Commission;
  • Experience in handling residential or commercial property is an advantage;
  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics, preferably with Master’s degree or academic units;
  • Government Certificate of Competency: Mines and Works in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is essential (2.13.1);

  • Experience in Shafts and Ground Handling, Crushers and Conveyors, Electrical and TMM – please indicate on CV;
  • B Tech, B Eng or BSc Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
