Our company is looking for a PHP Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support to the Business Analyst;
- Support to the Chief Information Officer;
- Manage Timesheet;
- General Support to fellow co-workers;
- Support to the Database Administrator;
- Attend Meetings as Scheduled;
- Support Ticket Management;
- Collaborate effectively with the development team;
- Responsible for development, implementation and testing of web application and responsive website with CMS backend;
- Transfers/shares gained knowledge to colleagues for synchronization purposes;
- Ensure timely completion of deliverables;
- Develop secure, user-friendly web-based applications/websites in PHP;
- Translate complex Photoshop comps to clean, semantic markup with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Understand client’s goals and objectives in order to develop detailed specification documents with clear project deliverables and timelines;
- Flexibility to carry out new research and technology to meet business needs.
Requirements:
- WordPress, Drupal, Joomla or other PHP based CMS (work on plugins an additional bonus);
- MariaDB (or MySQL);
- 2-3 years’ experience in PHP or Laravel/ Codelgniter/ Symphony;
- Experience on Web API service integration like SOAP, REST (JSON/XML);
- A love for development;
- ‘Go-getter’ attitude;
- CSS;
- A Composer and some classic frameworks user like Symfony, Laravel or Silex;
- Knowledge in JQuery is an advantage but not required;
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills;
- Agile, lean, or similar development methodologies/experience;
- Must possess advanced knowledge in PHP;
- System and Database design and development;
- Html 5 and css 3;
- 3-5 years of relevant experience with PHP.
