How You'll Make an Impact

As a Customer Support & Onboarding Specialist - Accounting (APAC / North America), you will help our North American hotel customers unlock the full potential of Cloudbeds' financial and accounting capabilities. Based in the Philippines or APAC region, you will work directly with clients and their accounting teams to guide them through end-to-end accounting configuration — from chart of accounts mapping and tax setup to ERP integrations and US GAAP-aligned financial workflows — ensuring every property is set up correctly and running smoothly from day one. This role requires availability during North American business hours (US EST and/or PST). This is a customer-facing role requiring equal parts hospitality, accounting expertise, technical curiosity, and a genuine passion for helping people succeed. If you thrive behind a spreadsheet but prefer not to engage with customers directly, this role is not the right fit.

We move fast, collaborate closely with Engineering, Support, and Sales, and take genuine pride in helping customers connect their financial backbone to Cloudbeds. What You Bring to the Team

• Guide North American hotel clients through full accounting onboarding, including chart of accounts mapping, tax configuration, revenue recognition setup, and reconciliation workflows aligned with US GAAP standards
• Translate each customer's unique business processes — night audits, folio management, accounts receivable, month-end close — into a properly configured Cloudbeds environment
• Support integrations between Cloudbeds and third-party accounting platforms and ERPs, including QuickBooks, Xero, M3, NetSuite, and other North American accounting systems
• Troubleshoot accounting discrepancies, integration sync issues, and configuration questions with a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach — engaging directly with clients' accounting professionals as a peer-level expert
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on North American hospitality accounting practices and US GAAP standards
• Contribute to onboarding documentation and best-practice resources for hospitality accounting workflows across North American markets
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay customer feedback and help shape the roadmap

What Sets You Up for Success

• 5+ years of hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience specifically within the hotel or hospitality industry — required
• Proven experience configuring or supporting integrations between a hotel PMS and accounting or ERP software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, M3, or comparable) — not theoretical; you have done this
• Strong working knowledge of North American accounting standards (US GAAP) and the platforms most commonly used by North American hotel clients
• Strong customer-facing communication skills — you are comfortable engaging with North American hotel clients and their accounting teams as a peer-level expert on a daily basis
• Availability to work North American business hours (US EST and/or PST) — this is a firm requirement
• Comfort navigating SaaS platforms and adopting new tools quickly with minimal hand-holdingA 
• CPA qualification or equivalent accounting certification is a strong plus

Bonus Skills to Stand Out

• Prior hands-on experience in hotel operations — front office, night audit, or revenue management
• Experience with M3, specifically, as the leading hospitality-specific accounting platform, M3 implementation or support experience is highly valued
• Active personal use of AI tools or workflow automation — we are building a team that embraces technology and learns continuously
