Digital Catalog Assistant
Set up: WFH
Shift: 12 am - 9 am or 1 am - 10 am (PT work hours)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Catalog Assistant to manage our digital music catalog, track licensing agreements, and support weekly client communications. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, high English proficiency, and comfort with digital database tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Catalog & Metadata Management: Upload audio files to internal systems and platforms (Disco, Chordal), ensuring song titles, artist names, and rights metadata are accurately tagged.
- Licensing Tracking: Maintain master Google Sheets and database records by logging tracking numbers, record labels, usage terms, contacts, and deal statuses.
- Newsletter Support: Format and prepare weekly email newsletters highlighting new music additions for client distribution.
- General Operations: Execute ongoing data entry, spreadsheet maintenance, and administrative tasks as catalog needs evolve.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional written English communication skills.
- High proficiency with Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel (data formatting, filtering, accuracy).
- Prior experience in administrative operations, digital marketing assistance, or catalog management.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high comfort with data entry workflows.
- Ability to work fixed shift hours aligned with Pacific Time (PT).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with music metadata platforms (e.g., Disco.ac, Chordal).
- Experience with email marketing/newsletter formatting.
