As the Finance Manager at JR&R Distributors Inc.', you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations and reporting for Palawan. Based in Puerto Princesa City Palawan, this full-time position will involve managing the financial accounting and reporting functions to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including monitoring cash flow and maintaining strong financial controls
- Overseeing the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory reports
- Analyzing financial data and providing strategic insights to support decision-making by the executive team
- Collaborating with the operations team to improve financial processes and implement cost-saving measures
- Supervising and mentoring the finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensuring the financial systems and internal controls are effective and efficient.

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the distribution industry
- Thorough understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
