Company Nurse

PART-TIME COMPANY NURSE (PROFESSIONAL FEE BASIS)

Job Summary

The Part-Time Company Nurse provides occupational health support for construction projects on a professional fee basis. The role includes site visits as needed, employee medical assistance, preparation of DOLE-related reports, and support in maintaining workplace health and safety compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Medical Assistance

• Provide basic medical assistance and first aid during site visits when necessary.
• Assess employee health concerns and recommend proper treatment or referral.
• Assist management during medical emergencies and incidents on-site.

2. Occupational Health Support

• Support implementation of occupational health programs and health monitoring activities.
• Coordinate with Safety Officers regarding employee health concerns and incidents.
• Conduct site visits as needed for health and safety compliance support.

3. Documentation and Compliance

• Prepare and maintain medical reports, treatment records, and incident documentation.
• Assist in preparation and submission of DOLE-related reports and requirements.
• Ensure confidentiality of employee medical information and records.

Qualifications

1. Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

2. License

• Registered Nurse (RN) – PRC Licensed

3. Certifications

• With Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) / Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) training certificate or other DOLE-required occupational health and safety training

4. Experience

• Experience in occupational health, clinic, or construction setting is an advantage
• Familiarity with DOLE occupational health requirements is preferred

5. Work Arrangement

• Part-Time / Professional Fee Basis
• Not required to stay on-site full-time
• Required to conduct at least one (1) site visit per month
• Will report on-site as needed or based on company schedule and operational requirements
• Transportation expenses for approved site visits are reimbursable by the company , subject to company policies and approval procedures
