Global Media Distribution & Content Sales Manager

This is a remote position.

This role is purely focused on distribution, sales, and partnership development, not content creation. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between Yow Digital Media's content library and prospective buyers, partners, and broadcast platforms abroad, allowing the founder to focus fully on production.

• Conduct outbound sales outreach to broadcasters, streaming platforms, distributors, and media buyers in the U.S., Canada, and Europe
  

• Present and pitch Client's content catalog (documentaries, entertainment, food/culture programming, commissioned content) to prospective clients and partners
  

• Manage outreach via email, phone calls, and consistent follow-up to move prospects through the sales pipeline
  

• Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings between the founder and qualified prospects
  

• Manage and respond to communications through the company email account on behalf of Client
  

• Identify and develop relationships with platforms, brokers, and outlets for content sales and acquisition deals
  

• Serve as the company's primary representative for distribution-related conversations in international markets
  

• Provide regular updates to the founder on pipeline status, prospect engagement, and deal progress
  

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the media, television, and film industry, including familiarity with industry terminology, distribution processes, and how content sales/acquisitions deals operate
  

• Proven experience in sales, business development, or partnership outreach, ideally within media, entertainment, or a related industry
  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to professionally represent the company in client-facing conversations
  

• Demonstrated ability to manage outbound outreach independently, including cold email, calls, and follow-up sequences
  

• Comfortable managing email correspondence and basic appointment scheduling on behalf of an employer
  

• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
  

• Genuine interest in African media and storytelling, and in helping bring that content to global audiences
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in content licensing, media sales, or distribution for film/TV/streaming
  

• Existing familiarity with broadcast, streaming, or digital platform buyers in the U.S. or European markets
  

• Experience representing a company brand via shared/managed email accounts
