Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Associate who can ensure accurate recording, reporting, and organization of financial transactions. If you are organized, numbers-driven, and eager to grow—this role is for you! This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Associate role located in Pasay. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, posting journal entries, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform bookkeeping functions , including recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions
- Accurately encode and update entries in the accounting system
- Process official receipts, check vouchers, and journal entries
- Prepare key reports such as: Petty Cash Liquidation, Tax summaries, Statements of Account (SOA), Sales and billing reports
- Review and verify documents for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure proper filing and organization of accounting documents
- Assist in reconciliation and maintenance of books of accounts
- Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Graduate of Accountancy or any related course
- At least 2 years experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Knowledge of basic accounting processes and documentation
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Computer literate (MS Excel and accounting systems is an advantage)
