Brokerage and Affinity Channel Manager- HMO

This role is accountable for new business sales closed through the Company's broker and affinity partners, multinational and local insurance brokers, and affinity groups like banks, telcos, associations, and membership organizations that distribute HMO coverage to their own member base. Managing and growing these partner relationships is the mechanism; the mandate is revenue actually closed against a quota, not partnerships built or relationships maintained. You’ll drive sales through the brokers and partners who bring corporate clients to the Company. This is a channel role, not a direct account-management one.
What You'll Own
Drive and close new business production through broker and affinity partners against a defined revenue/production quota
Manage, accredit, and grow relationships with multinational and local insurance brokers. Negotiate rates, overrides, and service-level commitments that convert into signed business
Identify, structure, and close affinity partnerships with banks, telcos, associations, and aggregators. Generating enrolled lives, not just signed MOUs
Own production targets and channel revenue reporting across both the brokerage and affinity segments
Represent the Company in broker principal meetings and affinity partner business reviews, with a clear eye on moving deals to close
Continuously scout new brokerage and affinity opportunities to expand Company's distribution footprint and pipeline
Requirements
What We're Looking For
3–7 years of experience closing new business and carrying a revenue quota through a portfolio of brokers and/or affinity partners, accrediting partners, negotiating rates and overrides, and converting that activity into signed, enrolled business within HMO specifically. This is channel and distribution management with direct sales accountability, not direct corporate account management.
Insurer-side experience managing external distribution partners. Not an insurer's own direct corporate accounts, and not a brokerage's own book of clients.
Track record of hitting or exceeding a sales/production target. Not just relationship-building activity.
Comfort negotiating partnership agreements, override/commission structures, and production targets across multiple channel types.
Existing, active relationships with globally affiliated or top-tier local insurance brokerage houses operating in the Philippines.
